Each week, our team shares the latest recall alerts from sources such as the U.S. Food & Drug Administration (FDA), the U.S. Department of Agriculture's Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS), the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), and additional safety sources to help keep consumers safe.

In the last two weeks, several common grocery items and kitchen tools have been recalled, including coffee, tuna, chocolate, and more. Check below to see if you have a recalled item in your home, and learn how to handle it if you do.

Keurig Coffee Pods

The FDA announced a Class II recall of more than 80,000 coffee pods sold by Keurig Dr Pepper. Roughly 960 cartons of McCafé Premium Roast Decaf Coffee K-Cup Pods have been recalled, as they may contain full-caffeine coffee instead of decaf.

The recalled McCafé Premium Roast Decaf Coffee K-Cup Pods, which were originally recalled in December, were sold in 84-count cartons at retailers in California, Indiana, and Nevada. The cartons can be identified by the best-by date "17 NOV 2026 LA hh:mm PL070 5321 or 5322," batch number 5101564894, material number 5000358463, and ASIN B07GCNDL91.

Nativas Organics Chia Seeds

Navitas Organics is voluntarily recalling select lots of its 8-ounce Organic Chia Seeds due to possible salmonella contamination as a precautionary measure following a recall initiated by the company’s chia seed supplier. The FDA announced that, as of Jan. 26, the company does "not have any reports of salmonella in our product at this time, nor have any illnesses or adverse medical events been reported or identified."  No other Navitas Organics products are affected by this recall.

The recall applies to the following 8-ounce packages of Navitas Organics Organic Chia Seeds (UPC 858847000284), which were distributed nationally in retail stores, including Whole Foods Market, as well as online retailers, including Amazon.

Distilled Gallon Water Jugs

The FDA recalled more than 38,040 gallons of Meijer Steam Distilled Water because the water may be contaminated with a "floating black foreign substance." Meijer Inc. originally initiated the recall on Nov. 13, 2025, but the recall is ongoing, and has yet to be classified by the FDA to determine the severity.

The 1-gallon plastic jugs of Meijer Distilled Water have a red lid and can be identified by the UPC 041250841197, "best by" date of Oct. 4, 2026, and lot code 39-222 #3. Meijer's recalled water gallons, which were sold at Meijer stores across the Midwest in Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Ohio, Michigan, and Wisconsin, also have the Product ID 472859 and Meijer Item Code 477910.

Spring & Mulberry Chocolate Bars

The FDA announced a recall on multiple flavors and lots of Spring & Mulberry chocolate bars due to possible salmonella contamination.

An initial recall on Jan. 12, 2026, included only one lot of one flavor; however, on Jan. 16, 2026, the recall was updated and expanded to include seven more flavors of the brand's chocolate bars. A full list of recalled flavors and lot numbers can be found here.

Canned Tuna

If you stocked up on canned tuna, you may want to check your pantry. According to an announcement from the FDA on Jan. 19, 2026, Tri-Union Seafoods is warning consumers that a third-party distributor inadvertently distributed canned tuna that was associated with a February 2025 recall.

The canned tuna was previously recalled due to potential risk for contamination with Clostridium botulinum, which can cause botulism—a form of food poisoning that is potentially fatal. Information to identify the recalled tuna, including retailers and lot numbers, can be found here.

Cookware With High Lead Levels

The FDA announced on Jan. 23, 2026, that IKM has issued a recall of four cookware items that contain significant levels of lead, which can leach into food. Consuming high levels of lead can lead to an elevated presence of lead in your blood, which can lead to serious health problems or lead poisoning, especially in children and babies.

The four items—A-cook Aluminum Kadai size 5, Brass Tope, IKM 4-quart Pital brass pot, and IKM 9-inch Aluminum saucepan wooden handle—were distributed in California to grocery stores mainly in these cities: Sunnyvale, Santa Clara, Fremont, Hayward, Pittsburg, Milpitas, Tracy, Manteca, Dublin, El Cerrito, Richmond, Hercules, San Jose, Fresno, Pleasanton, Roseville and Sacramento. If you own these cookware items, you should stop using them immediately and return them to the place of purchase for a full refund.

Superfoods Inc. SuperGreens

Superfoods Inc. DBA is recalling all Live it Up Super Greens, including both Original and Wild Berry flavors, with lots beginning with the letter "A" and all stick pack products due to possible contamination with salmonella, which can cause serious and sometimes fatal infections.

The recalled product was sold nationwide in the United States (including Puerto Rico, Guam, and the Virgin Islands) and in the United Kingdom via Superfoods Inc. DBA’s direct-to-consumer website since September 2024, and on Amazon.com since July 30, 2025. The company warns that unauthorized third-party distribution to consumers may also occur through eBay.com, Walmart.com, or other sites. The recall includes the following products:

  • 8.5-ounce Live it Up Super Greens with UPC 860013190804.

  • 30-count Live it Up Super Greens Sticks with UPC 850077468063

  • 30-count Live it Up Super Greens, Wild Berry Sticks, NET WT. 9.52oz (270g), with UPC 850077468070
